About an hour and 45 minutes by train northeast of Seoul, the city of Chuncheon has become especially well-known since appearing in the tremendously popular Korean drama "Winter Sonata". These photos show the Soyang Dam area just outside of the city, plus the boat ride and walk to Cheongpyeong-sa (temple). Finally, after returning to town, a tasty dinner of "Dakgalbi", which is marinated bite-size chicken pieces and assorted veggies cooked on an iron plate at the table. "Mashi Issoyo!" in Korean means it tastes good, and it does! Chuncheon is famous for its Dakgalbi.
